40 conversions is under the 50 a week Meta wants before an ad set leaves the learning phase. If this is a seven-day window, treat the numbers above as a signal, not a verdict — and resist editing the ad set, which restarts learning.
These numbers, for every campaign, every day
Marketing OS syncs Meta and Google Ads into one table with exactly this maths and exactly these thresholds — then rolls it up by creative, by audience and by asset, so the thing that is working is obvious without anyone pasting numbers anywhere.
How this is worked out
Eight facts go in — spend, impressions, reach, clicks, purchases, leads and revenue — and everything else is derived from them: ROAS = revenue ÷ spend, CPA = spend ÷ purchases, CTR = clicks ÷ impressions, CPM = spend ÷ impressions × 1000, frequency = impressions ÷ reach.
Two of the readings are judgements rather than arithmetic. A ROAS is graded green at or above your break-even, amber between 80% and 100% of it, red below — which is why the break-even field matters more than any other input on the page. Cost per lead is graded the same way in reverse, green at or under target and red more than 25% over.
The learning-phase warning uses Meta’s own rule of thumb — about 50 conversions in seven days before an ad set’s delivery settles — and the frequency warning uses 3.5 for prospecting and 6 for retargeting.
