Cursor

Point Cursor at the Marketing OS MCP endpoint with a three-line mcp.json, over OAuth or an API key.

Settings → MCP → Add new MCP server, or edit ~/.cursor/mcp.json directly:

json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "marketing-os": {
      "url": "https://marketing-api.keyescode.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Cursor opens your browser on the first tool call. Pick the organization, optionally a single business, and read-only or read-and-propose.

Connect with an API key

Mint it under Settings → API Keys in Marketing OS — it is shown once, and it can be confined to one business:

json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "marketing-os": {
      "url": "https://marketing-api.keyescode.com/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer mos_xxxxxxxx" }
    }
  }
}

Add the skills

Everything that is not Claude Code reads the skills as plain markdown. Point Cursor at skills/plugins/marketing-os/skills/marketing-os/SKILL.md, or read the same text at the skills pack.

First prompts

  • "Pull my Marketing OS guardrails and tell me the largest budget change I am allowed to propose."
  • "Draft three ad variants for the spring promo in the brand voice from the knowledge base."

If something goes wrong

A browser-based client blocked by CORS needs its origin in the API's CORS_ORIGIN; Cursor is a desktop app, so this does not apply to it. The rest is in troubleshooting.
