VS Code (GitHub Copilot)
Add Marketing OS to VS Code's Copilot agent mode with a workspace .vscode/mcp.json.
Connect over OAuth (recommended)
Create .vscode/mcp.json in the workspace:
json
{
"servers": {
"marketing-os": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://marketing-api.keyescode.com/mcp"
}
}
}VS Code prompts to start the server and opens the browser for consent on the first tool call. The tools show up in Copilot's agent mode, behind the tools picker.
Connect with an API key
json
{
"servers": {
"marketing-os": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://marketing-api.keyescode.com/mcp",
"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer mos_xxxxxxxx" }
}
}
}.vscode/mcp.json is usually committed, so prefer OAuth here — or keep the key in an input
variable rather than in the file.
First prompts
- "List my Marketing OS businesses and their break-even ROAS."
- "Summarise last week's Meta performance for the main business."
